Sinopsis :
Rohit (Hrithik Roshan) is an aspiring singer who meets Sonia Saxena (Amisha Patel). They end up going on a cruise together and eventually get stranded on a deserted island. They eventually fall deeply in love but her father (Anupam Kher) is bitterly opposed to their relationship. Unfortunately for Rohit he is killed by two corrupt policemen. Sonia goes into depression so her father sends her to New Zealand to her cousin to recover and get over Rohit.
When she reaches there she meets Raj, who looks like Rohit(also Hrithik Roshan). Sonia and Raj soon meet and he falls in love with her. But she doesn't return his love back, because she knows that her one true love is dead, and seeing someone's face which is so similar is just too painful. Sonia goes back to India and is followed by Raj. Raj ends up staying in India longer than he had expected as he is shot by the murderers of Rohit. Soon, the two begin to question whether Rohit's death was an accident or a murder. They figure out Rohit was murdered. So, Raj and Sonia's friends make-up a plan to find Rohit's killers. But the plan backfires and the murderers kidnap Sonia. Raj comes to the rescue and saves her. Then and there, he figures out who Rohit's killers are and surprisingly one of their accomplices is Sonia's father. Eventually, all ends well with the bad guys gone to jail, Raj and Sonia getting married(Sonia finally falls in love with Raj), and Rohit's soul finally resting in peace, but is never forgotten

HRITHIK ROSHAN

Biography :
Hrithik was born in Mumbai, India, to actress Pinky and actor Rakesh Roshan, who was himself the son of a well-known film-music director Roshan. Rakesh later turned to film production and direction. Hrithik's entry into acting extended the Roshan family role in Bollywood to the third generation.

Hrithik's first movie role was in the 1980 movie Aasha, where he was an extra, a dancing boy. Later he worked behind the camera, supporting his director father. While he was working on the movie Karan Arjun, the film's lead, Salman Khan, urged Hrithik to try his hand at acting. It is said that Salman gave Hrithik lessons in body-building and acting.

Hrithik achieved fame when he starred in Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai opposite debutante starlet Amisha Patel. The film was directed by his father. His performance earned him the Filmfare Best Debut Award and the Filmfare Best Actor Award. Many of his later movies have been successful. Most notable were Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham in 2001 and Koi... Mil Gaya in 2003, the latter of which was directed by his father, Rakesh Roshan.

The actor is married to Suzanne Khan, his high-school sweetheart and daughter of actor Sanjay Khan. Hrithik is generally regarded as a down-to-earth, hard-working actor, neither an egomaniac nor a playboy.

Like many other actors, Hrithik also tours in Bollywood stage shows. His first stage appearance was at Lux Zee Cine Awards in 2001.

He is currently working on a sequel to Koi... Mil Gaya; it is being directed by his father Rakesh Roshan and will be called Krrish. Hrithik plays a superhero and is said to be doing rigorous martial arts training for the action sequences. The movie also stars Priyanka Chopra.

Hrithik and his wife are expecting their first child, due in April 2006.

Plot
Shankar Dada (Chiranjeevi) is a good hearted don in Hyderabad who runs away from home at a young age. He extorts money, kidnaps and roughs up people for money. But, he lies to his old age father (Girish Karnad) that he is a doctor in the city. Every year when they come to the city to visit him, he pretends to be a doctor and makes them happy. Finally the drama comes to an end, as one of the doctors in the locality Lingam (Paresh Rawal) tells Shankala’s parents the truth when the try to strike an alliance between their son and his daughter Sunitha (Sonali Bendre). Shankar decides to complete MBBS and become a doctor to live up to his parent’s wishes. He joins the college at which Paresh Rawal is the principal, and turns into a menace to him. There is a parallel track where he cures the patients in the hospital, not through medicine, but by showing love and affection towards them. How lives up to his parent’s dream and makes Sunitha fall in love with him, while gaining the principal’s acceptance forms the story’s crux.

Sonali studied in Bangalore and Mumbai in Kendriya Vidyalaya and Holy Cross Convent High School Thane.

Sonali Bendre started out as a model before being selected for the "Star Dust Talent Search". Her first role was in Aag (1994) opposite Govinda. Though she initially struggled to be a successful actress, she was eventually given critical acclaim for her performances in films like Bhai (1997)Sarfarosh (1999), Zakhm, Duplicate, Hum Saath-Saath Hain: We Stand United (1999), Dil Hi Dil Mein (2000), Tera Mera Saath Rahey and Anaahat (2003) among many others.

In 1995 she won the Filmfare Lux New Face Award. In 2001 she also won the Star Screen Award Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai where she co-starred with Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai. She was the only cast member who was nominated and won the award. She was appreciated for her comic performances in films like Love Ke Liye Kuchh Bhi Karega

Next to her well-received performances, she was also recognized as a graceful dancer through films like Bombay, Lajja and Major Saab to name a few. She is frequently listed as one of the top most beautiful Bollywood actress.

On November 12, 2002 she married film producer/director Goldie Behl. She also hosted the 50th Filmfare Awards with Saif Ali Khan and Farida Jalal on February 26, 2005. On August 9, 2005 she gave birth to a son, Ranvir, at Breach Candy Hospital. Bendre is set to star in the theatre in a play called, Aap Ki Soniya.

Sinopsis :
Nandu (Bobby Deol) an orphan turned assassin somehow gets wrongly accused of a politician's murder and is on the run. On his escapade on a train he meets Shekhar (Pradeep), who is homebound after fourteen years, they get chatting and Nandu finds all about his joint family and the wedding of Shekhar's cousin that he is going to attend.

However the police catch up with Nandu on the train and shoot at him but Shekhar shields Nandu and dies on the spot. Nandu goes to Shekhar's family home in his village to return his grandfathers watch and also to break the news of his grandson's death to him. However it turns out that Shekhar's family mistakes Nandu for Shekhar and makes him a part of the celebration at home.

Preet (Shriya Saran), who is the daughter of Shekhar's grandfather's friend is in awe of Nandu and falls in love with him. CBI Inspector Rane (Nana Patekar), is given the responsibility of tracking down the killer and is after Nandu.

Will Nandu be able to come out of the crisis a winner? Will the family come to know about his truth? What would be the fate of Nandu and Preet's love story? Who was the real killer?

Biography :
Born Vishwanath Patekar in Murud-Janjira, Maharashtra, to Dankar Patekar (a painter) and his wife Sangana Patekar. He is an alumnus of the Sir J. J. institute of Applied Arts, Mumbai.During his college years he was active in inter collegiate dramatics. After graduating he has starred in a number of Bollywood movies with some of the most prominent film directors of Bollywood. He is married to Neelakanti Patekar, and they have a son Malhar Patekar.

Career :
Nana Patekar is said to have a unique acting style. He is famous for his brash style of delivering his dialogues and his way of speaking reflects his deliverance of the lines. It is widely rumoured that he ad libs all of his lines and is held in high regard for this ability. He is known to give generously to the poor. He is also a sketch artist, a secret not known to the outside world. His sketches have sometimes helped the Mumbai Police to track criminals.

While he acted in movies such as Mohre (1987) and Salaam Bombay! (1988), he was noticed by the mainstream Bollywood industry and audience for his portrayal of the villain in the 1989 film, Parinda. He was awarded the Filmfare Best Supporting Actor Award for the role. He also won the Filmfare Best Villain Award in 1992 for Angaar. He is often seen in many movies starring either Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff or Madhuri Dixit.

He is very well known for his role in the movie Ab Tak Chappan (2005) in which he plays a police officer whose main task is to rid the streets of underworld dons. In 1994 he won the National Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in Krantiveer (1994). He also won the Filmfare Award and the Star Screen Awards in the best actor category.

Patekar has experimented with his roles when it comes to films. He has done the occasional villain role, but has also played a hero in most of his films. He played a truant, gambling son in Krantiveer (1994), a wife beater in Agni Sakshi (1996), a deaf and dumb father in Khamoshi: The Musical (1996) and a schizophrenic in Wajood (1998). At times during his career, it was noted that he was an epitome of the "angry young man" role and that he was well suited for such roles and would carry it on as a forerunner of Amitabh Bachchan and Mithun Chakraborty. Yet, he was also perfect for some of the villainous roles that he has done.

He turned director with his movie Prahaar: The Final Attack co-starring Madhuri Dixit. His other films as an actor include Hu Tu Tu and Bluff Master. He once again gave a good performance in his latest film Apaharan. He received the Filmfare Best Villain Award as well as the Star Screen Award Best Villain. He is going to be in Sangeeth Sivan's next film, which is a remake of the Telugu film Athadu(2005) and as the character Anjaneya Prasad (CBI Officer), Which was originally played by Prakash Raj.

Patekar has also done some playback singing in the films Yeshwant (1997), Wajood (1998) and Aanch (2003).

He is the only actor ever to win Filmfare Awards in the Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor and Best Villain categories.

Synopsis
Ishaan Awasthi is an eight-year-old whose world is filled with wonders that no one else seems to appreciate; colours, fish, dogs and kites are just not important in the world of adults, who are much more interested in things like homework, marks and neatness. And Ishaan just cannot seem to get anything right in class.

When he gets into far more trouble than his parents can handle, he is packed off to a boarding school to ‘be disciplined’. Things are no different at his new school, and Ishaan has to contend with the added trauma of separation from his family.

One day a new art teacher bursts onto the scene, Ram Shankar Nikumbh, who infects the students with joy and optimism. He breaks all the rules of ‘how things are done’ by asking them to think, dream and imagine, and all the children respond with enthusiasm, all except Ishaan. Nikumbh soon realizes that Ishaan is very unhappy, and he sets out to discover why. With time, patience and care, he ultimately helps Ishaan find himself.

Characters:
Darsheel Safary as Ishaan Nandkishore Awasthi Ishaan is 8 years old. He loves colours, fish, shiny things, dogs, golas, spaceships and kites. He loves to draw and paint and be a bindaas boy. He does not want to go to boarding school.

Vipin Sharma as Nandkishore Awasthi Nandkishore Awasthi is Ishaan’s father. He gets very angry when Ishaan’s teachers from school complain. Nandkishore is of the view that only Boarding school can teach discipline to Ishaan.

Tisca Chopra as Maya Awasthi Maya is Ishaan’s mother. She makes good food and looks after Ishaan when he gets hurt. She is very sad that Ishaan has to go to boarding school but she thinks it will be for the best.

Sachet Engineer as Yohaan Awasthi Yohaan is Ishaan’s Dada. Dada is a very good student and also plays tennis and cricket. He also looks after Ishaan and loves him.

Aamir Khan as Ram Shankar Nikumbh Nikumbh sir doesn't scold Ishaan like the other teachers. He sports a very nice smile and he likes colours and fish and dogs and painting too!
